...with liberty and justices for all...or just for some?

Many people talks about their rights. But they forget that they come from a social compromise and responsability. The ocean will not respect your right to live, just because it is written in the constitution of your country. Neither the fire, nor the tigers at the jungle. This gives us a hint. Rights are created and respected just by human beings. We, the people of some place agree to creates things like: private property, peaceful living, etc. But the only way that would works, is that everyone respects that right mutually. So we need of each other in order for it to work. If no one respect that, the right does not exist, since by definition it is an agreement for the common good; not something which you are born with. So at some point we create a law in which the people of this hypothetical places agree to respect this civil codes.

Lets assume that this hypothetical places, for the sake of the argument, consist of 2 christian, 3 jews, 3 buddhist, 2 Muslim, and 4 Hinduism. The only way they could agree in something would be in laws that protects their personal interest. Since they all have different philosophies, that is something almost impossible. How can we resovle this issue?

Creating laws which favor not a religion code, but ones which protects the right of each individual to profess their life philosophy(so everyone can follow the preferred code). Its is here where separation of religion and state makes sence. It is not a sin as some religious fundamentalists would argue. It is a way to protect everyones right to live the life they want to to lives it.

This could go the other way, however. The Hindus can get armed and take the place by the force and then argue: God gave this place to us. We are the chosen one (the jews would say to them, haven't you read the hebrew bible, God do not think as you do, we are the chosen ones.) And laws created afterward would definitively favor Hindus since they have receive the order of God to spread the hindus gospel. Later jews unite with the christians(since they agree at least in the Hebrew Bible) and take the 4 hindus out of power(5 vs. 4). And then they would try to mold their society with their own perspective. But it would not be easy since the power is held by to religions with different views since christian follow a book (new covenant) which jews do not accept. And finally the would not agree in many things. Their union will become weak. And then muslin takes advantage of that, and make a deal with buddhist too. And the vicious cycle keep going.

The issues would not get resolve and peace would never exist, since everyone want to do things their way.

Here is the point where humbleness takes part. All the people of the hypothetical country realize that they would not live in peace unless they start practicing something call "RESPECT". So they agree that they would not forces no one to follow a code. From now on the only thing they will force each other to do, is to respect the right of everyone to live the way the want to live, and the right of everyone to look and experience truth their own way.

I encourage everyone reading this blog, to start living a humble life, respecting the people which do not think the way we do. That is the only way we will be in the correct road for the pursuit of happiness.

¡Totalmente de acuerdo! La intervencion religiosa en el aparato estatal debe mirarse como un acto sedicioso, de caracter violento. Es algo represivo y no debe fomentarse. Libertad para todos.
